Finished!

Just printed up 66 pages of vague!

No PC and NPC pieces yet.

I may just doodle them as I go...

  1. I'll bring along the box of your old printed characters - I'm sure we can re-use, recycle and re-the-other-one.

  2. How big were they?
I might try to doodle a few at least.

  3. I don't know exactly - I think they were a little larger than the standard miniatures size, but they seemed to work for us on the grid-mat we used to have.

BTW - I still haven't checked I still have them. I'll rummage around tonight ...

  4. I'd like to see a return of the Lego used to create the walls and ramparts in the final Uni adventure (The-one-where-everyone-dies).
Maybe we should even use lego mini figures as characters!

(Actually Lego D&D has been submitted as an "idea" to Lego - if they get enough supporters, they might put it into production. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/165437)

  5. Great if you can find the tiny 4th edition ones.

As for LEGO... I love the little men and have many, many of them. Probably not enough though.

    Also, they're shockingly expensive now.

    :(

  6. Lego DnD is a great idea, but looks a little small. The end of campaign showdown set piece was awesome in 3D, but until we have another one of those I prefer the drawing mat for on the fly goodness.

  7. No, you are right. Way too small and fiddly.
We used to have this stuff pretty well sorted. Wipe clean boards with squares marked on. Very well suited to our out-doors adventures as you can just draw stuff in. Along with Kirk's printed custom characters, what more could you need.

I'm sure we can do much the same again.

I have found the box with the random printed 4th edition characters and monsters. So that will help us, I'm sure.
