A Nite's stroll

Nite' hops out onto the window ledge of his second storey room, swinging effortlessly up onto the roof he carefully makes he way up towards the large chimney stack.
It takes him a moment to spot Cogitari, contentedly curled against the warm bricks, and another moment to retrieve one of the several bags of coins he has stashed.

Urging his familiar to stay and guard, Nite' speeds off across the roof tops. A mere shadow in the night, his destination the local thieves den - a place of iniquity and vice.
On his finger the spoils of his latest adventure, the opal stoned magic ring. He looked forward to later 'safely' testing its powers.
The division of treasure seemed to have gone well, the ring and throwing knife the only items of interest to Nitendae. Let the other two sort out the rest, although he did hope Marlon might carry the bag. The conversations between them should be interesting.
And if Sereena stays with them it might be idea for the two sorcerers to chat and compare teachings.

Reaching a roof top above the 'den' Nite' pauses and watches awhile, he spots two look-outs and several trip alarms. Avoiding the former and dis-arming the latter Nite' drops to the ground and approaches the entrance to the den, hopefully the two musclebound doormen were expecting him....
