Unsurprisingly, it's the lithe Sereena who reacts quickest. Moving away from the other two, with a simple guesture and a whispered phrase, the beautiful sorceress becomes four.
Volkon knows it's an illusion but for the life of him, he still can't spot the fakes.
The war-priest, Demitasse also reacts faster than the hulking Marlon.
Gripping his holy talisman, his athletic frame erupts upward and grows to Ogreish proportions!
Marlon however, is already charging toward the now giant cleric and doesn't stop.
Despite Marlon's impressive build and incredible strength, Volkon is surprised to see the newly formed giant cleric, knocked onto his arse!
Sensing an opportunity, Sereena edges closer and sprays a cloud of golden dust over both the prone giant Demitasse AND the heavily armoured Marlon.
Both the men clutch at their eyes as they're coated in a gorgeous golden glow.
Marlon is blinded by it but Demitasse avoids that fate.
Standing up, he strikes his now helpless opponent.
It's a solid blow, made even more impressive due to Demitasse's massively increased bulk.
Poor Marlon is rocked but even blinded, he holds his ground.
The sightless battler, tries to strike back, but swings his long-sword, well wide of the mark.
Volkon wonders if Marlon had selected his preferred war-hammer, would he've missed?
Sereena takes a chance with just her illusions to protect her, and sprays a fine wave of fire over both of her erstwhile partners.
Despite his magical armour and robust constitution, Marlon gets hit repeatedly by both Sereena and Demitasse.
The cleric concentrates his attention on the big, blind Fighter and the sorceress attacks them both.
Unfortunately for Sereena though, is that, between hammering at Marlon, Demitasse seems to be curing himself faster than she can injure him.
Soon though Marlon raises his hands; He's had enough.
This leaves Demitasse free to concentrate on the teenage Sereena.
With her limited offensive spell proving to be ineffective, she seems to be incapable of injuring him now but Demitasse doesn't share her problem.
Summoning a spiritual weapon, he rains blows down upon her until all her doubles are dispelled and she's forced to retire.
Issack commands his wooden body; Cary to lift him up and he cries;
"I don't believe it! The sandal wearing hippy beat them both?!"
OK, so no-one really does talk about Fight club...
ReplyDeleteThese last two posts were just to give you guys a taste of what your three/four henchmen are capable of.
seriously I thought we weren't to speak about Fight club...
ReplyDeletemy money was originally on Marlon, Sereena is more a distraction/ support.
Pleasantly surprise at Demitasse.
Sereena should of helped Marlon beat Demitasse, then blown him a kiss and he would of feinted...
No one ever said Sereena was wise.
