Volkon sat back, a mess of ropes and gripping ions in his hands. The cliff face loomed at him uncaring in stony silence. His teacher barked orders at him and Volkon picked himself up and tried again. And again.
He wasn't about to give up. After the debacle of the last adventure, Volkon realised he needed to go back to basics and improve his climbing and jumping. He could swing his sword like a Titan of old, but it was no good if you fell into a pit and couldn't climb out!
So, he practiced. Climbing, and the art of the long-jump.
A bonus though was that his clever teacher also taught him a thing or two about tumbling in and out of battle situations. Nice :)
Many skills considering Volkon only has five points to spend...
ReplyDeleteAlso, remember that 'Tumble' costs Barbarian's double!
:P
How very dare you! Two points (for 1 skill point) in Tumble, 2 in Climb and 1 in Jump.
ReplyDeleteIt is an improvement for the sake of the story, not much of an actual improvement.
What I actually need to improve is my dice rolls!
Just read your 7th level Character sheet...
ReplyDelete75Hps and Damage reduction!
Blimey!
